OBD Mode
OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) mode connects through the vehicle’s diagnostic port. It is the quickest and least invasive method because you do not have to open or remove the ECU. OBD is ideal for many modern vehicles where the ECU can be read and written directly through the car’s communication bus.

Bench Mode
Bench mode is used when the ECU is removed from the vehicle and connected directly on your workbench. This gives a clean, stable connection and is often used when OBD access is limited or when you want full control during reading and writing.
Boot Mode
Boot mode accesses the microcontroller through its boot pins. It is typically used for protected ECUs or when you need lower-level access than OBD or bench provides. Boot mode requires careful, correct wiring — which is exactly where the KT200II’s built-in wiring diagrams help.
BDM Mode
